To find the resolution you need, minimize your browser, and right click on your empty desktop.  Choose 'properties', then the settings tab and you should see this:

The resolution is in the lower left corner, in this case 1280x1024.

Next, click the corresponding image to download / view it.  Right click on the picture in your browser and choose 'Set as background.'  That's it!

MAC

To find the resolution you need, click on the apple menu and select control panels, monitors and sound.  You will see a window showing your resolution.

Next, click the corresponding image and hold down the mouse button until you see a menu.  Choose 'Download image to disk', and save the image somewhere you'll remember.

Next choose control panels, desktop pictures.  Click the 'pictures' button and choose the picture you've saved.  That's it!
