I just purchased yesterday. Color is very nice, not too flashy. Not a very noisy reel, which is kind of nice. Drag feels like it could stop a freight train. Haven't used it on the water, but it appears to be a very nice reel.

I bought a 6th sense line, and WOW! This is probably one of the best lines on the market. I have it in a WF5F and it is amazing. Floats for days, doesn't pick up a bunch of garbage, and is overall very memory resistant. Price is a little high, but overall very worthwhile line to own.

I bought the 1956 model for my 6wt rod. I've got two spools, one with floating line and the other with sinking line. The drag is spectacular, in that it doesn't hamper the uptake of line with additional drag. I've dunked it in the water a few times, and the mechanism always comes out dry as a bone. Very good performance for the price. Little heavy, but who cares.

I bought a 6wt Echo first series rod. Comes with nice tube and overall finish of the rod is good. The rod is a little heavy, and the action feels a little slow, but overall, it casts relatively well. I bought the rod about 2 years ago when I first started fly fishing, and it has served me well, but now I primarily stick to a 4wt rod. I've caught fish up to 20" on this rod, and it feels like they are about twice the size. It's got plenty of backbone, but the top half of the rod feels a little wimpy.

I purchased the 4/5 7'6" rod. I've got a Pflueger Supreme 1834 reel that is extremely lightweight. On a day without wind, I can cast size 10-12 bugger patterns out to 40-50 feet. Line control is not good due to short rod, but I've caught fish upwards of 25-28" with this rod, and it handled them amicably. I recently was fishing in 5 degree weather and accidentally snapped off the tip top, but had a local shop glue on a new one, now I have a 7'3" rod. I have a friend who uses Sage and Scott rods, and when he cast this one, he was very impressed. If you don't overpower it, it will cast just as well as a 300-400 rod.
